Dining

If you are looking for a delightful cafe in downtown Savannah, we recommend checking out the Soho South Cafe. This quirky location enables diners to enjoy lunch or brunch while taking in works of art and it’s one of our favorite destinations for a quick meal.

A Sample of the Menu

Soho South Cafe is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas, and this reliable and easy to remember schedule sets them apart from some of the other dining experiences in the city. Monday through Sunday they serve lunch and on Sundays they have a brunch menu.

The lunch menu is filled with delicious soups, quiches, salads, sandwiches, signature dishes, and desserts. The Soho South Cafe also has a children’s menu that features classic kid-friendly fare such as grilled cheese sandwiches. Adults can enjoy everything from the Southwestern Salad to the Middle Eastern Pressed Sandwich. There are also a few vegetarian options available including the Modern Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Combo, Grilled Portabella, and Grilled Vegetable Focaccia.

The Sunday brunch menu is smaller than the deli’s lunch menu, but that doesn’t mean that it is any less delectable. In fact, this is definitely one of the best places to get brunch in the area. The menu includes pancakes, eggs, waffles, omelets, and Soho’s brunch specials such as the Southwestern Burrito, Eggs Savannah, and Griddled Brioche French Toast.

Take-Out Options

Some diners prefer to eat their food on the go. Whether you want to get food to enjoy outside or at the beautiful home away from home in Savannah that you found through Southern Belle Vacation Rentals, you will have the opportunity to order take-out for some of SoHo’s best menu choices. However, it is important to note that the entire menu is not available for take-out, so we recommend dining in to ensure that you have the optimal taste experience.

The Ambiance

One of our favorite things about Soho South Cafe is the ambiance. As previously mentioned, you will be able to enjoy local art while you dine and the food itself is presented with an artistic flair. This alone makes Soho a prime destination for locals and tourists who are looking for a cafe in downtown Savannah. Soho was voted the Best Business Lunch in Savannah in 2010 by Savannah Magazine, so you know that you can expect delicious food made with high quality ingredients. Soho’s convenient location on West Liberty Street also makes it a great choice, especially for travelers who are visiting nearby attractions such as the Savannah History Museum and the Andrew Low House.

Visiting the Soho South Cafe for lunch or brunch is definitely a great way to refuel during the middle of the day. We love eating in an artistic environment and the food keeps us coming back for more.
